Draft for internal review. This is behavioral/conduct policy, distinct from the contractual terms in the Artist Agreement — enforcement action taken under this policy should still route through the same manual-review process the ghosting policy uses, not an automated strike. Have counsel confirm the enforcement language in Section 4 before use.

Artist Code of Conduct

Last updated: September 19, 2026

1. Treat Clients With Respect

Communicate professionally, honor the times and terms you've agreed to, and don't discriminate against a Client on the basis of a protected characteristic under applicable law.

2. Represent Your Work Honestly

Gallery photos should be your own real work, accurately described. Don't post another artist's work as your own, and don't misrepresent your experience, specialties, or credentials on your profile.

3. No Manipulation of Reviews or Reliability Signals

Don't ask Clients to leave a review in exchange for a discount or favor, don't create or use fake accounts to review yourself, and don't retaliate against a Client for an honest review — including through pricing, refusing future service, or a bad-faith ghost report. See the Review & Ratings Policy.

4. Enforcement

A violation of this Code is reviewed the same way a ghost report is — a human looks at the actual record before any account action is taken. Depending on severity, that can mean a warning, a temporary restriction, or removal from Charon. See the Artist Agreement for how account termination works generally.
