Charon
Electronic Signature & Consent
Last updated: September 19, 2026
Applies every time you check a box to agree to a Charon document — the Terms, a consent form, or an agreement with your Artist.
1. What This Covers
Every document on Charon — the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and any consent or agreement you check a box to accept — is signed electronically. This page explains what that means and confirms you agree to sign documents this way.
2. Your Electronic Signature Is Legally Binding
By checking a box next to a document on Charon, you're signing it, with the same legal effect as a handwritten signature on paper, under the U.S. Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN Act) and applicable state law (Illinois's Uniform Electronic Transactions Act).
3. What Gets Recorded
For each document you agree to, Charon records: the exact text of the version you saw, the date and time you agreed, and your account. This record is what establishes that you signed, and what version you signed — it's kept as long as your account exists and for a reasonable period after, for evidentiary purposes.
4. Right to Paper Records and Withdrawing Consent
You have the right to request a paper copy of any document you've signed electronically, and to withdraw your consent to sign electronically going forward, by contacting chrn.support@gmail.com. Withdrawing consent may prevent you from completing certain actions on Charon — like booking an appointment — that require an electronic signature to proceed, since Charon does not currently offer a paper-based alternative process.
5. System Requirements
To view and sign documents on Charon, you need a device with a current web browser and an active internet connection. No special software is required.
6. Keeping Your Information Current
If your email address changes, update it in your account settings so you continue to receive copies of any documents or notices Charon sends electronically.
